'Kopa pszczyńskia' - the Pszczyna cake with 'gives a kick'

Ingredients:

  • 4 eggs
  • 8 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 packets butter
  • mixed dried fruit and nuts (20 dag raisins, 20 dag almonds, 20 dag nuts)
  • 250 ml spirit
  • 500 ml whipping cream
  • sponge

 

Directions:

Whisk 4 eggs with 8 tablespoons of sugar and vanilla sugar, and mix with 2 packets of butter. Blend the butter cream with crumbled sponge and mixed dried fruit and nuts soaked in spirit. Form a ‘hill’ and decorate it with whipped cream and fruit. Serve with a small coffee.

A dessert with large amount of fruit, cream and nuts with some spirits.

 

 

This meal was prepared by the Village Women's Club from Wisła Wielka during the 4th “Silesian Tastes Festival 2009” in Pszczyna. The Team won 2nd place in amateur category.
