The Bachelor's Little Palace (also known as the Bachelor’s House) is one of the buildings, which had been erected in Świerklaniec by the powerful Henckel von Donnersmarck family. Unfortunately, it was not so lucky as the main palace, called "Little Versailles". The neoBaroque Bachelor’s House was at the beginning of the twentieth century. On the façade of the building there is the Latin inscriptions, explaining the reasons for its construction: “Memento vivere - Remember to life!” Today, it houses a hotel and a restaurant.
