The sacred edifice standing on the Sławków
cemetery is known as the chapel or little
church of Saint Mark. It was built in the first
half of the nineteenth century. The plastered
stone building was erected on the site of a
former wooden chapel (or another building),
which had already stood at the beginning of
the seventeenth century. At that time, the
church was referred to as "standing in the
suburbs," and later, with the expansion of the
cemetery, it became a cemetery chapel.
